MEDICAID COVERAGE FOR LACTATION CONSULTANT SERVICES IN GEORGIA
CareSource, a nonprofit managed care company based in Dayton, Ohio, has contracted with the Georgia Department of Community Health to provide Medicaid services to Georgia citizens, and they will cover lactation consultant services! To do so, they need Georgia Licensed Lactation Consultants to contract with them to provide these services.

Currently CareSource is the only contracted provider of Medicaid services in Georgia to make this commitment, but we will keep you posted with any updates.
